As Carro’s Chief Scientist, Bryan leads technological innovations in Carro’s Southeast Asia operations for various countries in South East Asia, each with unique market dynamics. This includes the wide deployment of data analytics and statistics, data modelling and machine learning to actualise business objectives.

Currently, Bryan also runs the largest used car marketplace in Indonesia as CEO, Carro Indonesia. Scaling the business successfully with AI, he achieves an annual revenue in excess of US$20 million with record-high gross profit margins.

Here at Carro, we harness data, science and tech to drive innovative projects, establishing Carro as a top used car marketplace in Asia.  In 2024, we’re honoured to be the top automotive company on the list of Singapore’s fastest-growing companies 2024.

Bryan is also an established academic, obtaining his PhD from the University of Cambridge in Earth Science. He has taught and spoken at renowned academic institutions including Goldschmidt-Paris, University of Cambridge, Oxford University and Australian-ANSTO on a wide variety of topics ranging from nuclear physics to computer engineering. He is also an esteemed associate/ fellow of professional organisations such as The Geological Society, London, The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Singapore, Society of Medical Physicists (Singapore) etc.
