Donald Ong is Senior Vice President, Advisors Business Development, Asia Pacific. Mastercard Advisors is focused on driving value beyond the transaction, leveraging our unparalleled data, technology and our world-class consulting experts to deliver smarter decisions and better outcomes for governments, banks and merchants.

Prior to this role, Donald led Mastercard’s consulting, innovation, data insights and predictive analytics product lines, go-to-market and commercialization strategy in Asia Pacific.

Donald also led Mastercard as Country Manager, Thailand & Myanmar, working with public and private partners to grow the cashless ecosystem, enable the digital economy and drive financial inclusion.

Before joining Mastercard, Donald spent more than 15 years across Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia in a variety of roles within the retail banking functions of global banks ANZ and HSBC, including finance and planning, branch management, product management and product leadership.
